Barrier Function Default (How You Become Allergic) To effectively evaluate and treat allergy/sensitivity disease, it is necessary to first look at sensitization mechanisms, or how you become sensitized to something. This happens through barrier function defaults.

Barrier functions are what separate you from your environment. If your mucus membranes that line your nose, mouth, sinuses and respiratory passages dry out, they can not trap particulates, pollens, etc. and you become sensitized to what you breathe. If you can not digest protein adequately, you will become sensitized to what you eat. If your skin is too dry or has any rash, cut, abrasion, or other lesion you sensitize to what you touch.

Barrier functions must be evaluated and treated first. Then associated organs (adrenal, thyroid, thymus) which are stressed by allergy/sensitivity disease, must be evaluated and supported, if necessary.

Allergy Testing

There must be some way of identifying what, specifically you are reacting to. We use a challenge response test that is similar, but different than skin testing. Instead of scratching the skin we apply an electronic probe to the allergy acupuncture point. Instead of injecting a serum into the skin we stimulate the allergy point with an energetic signal of the allergen. Instead of getting a hive-like skin reaction as a positive, we see a decrease in energetic conductance as a positive. We test over 6,000 generic items and have the largest Arizona plant testing list that exists. We also test air pollutants, food additives, and other items that conventional testing does not cover. Since energy is the first pathological change, it represents all reaction mechanisms, not just antibody reactions. We are testing allergy and sensitivity mechanisms, as well as immediate and delayed hypersensitivity.
